IDENTIFICATION / EXPERTISE

The phase following the approach and the update is essential to ensure the quality and safety of subsequent operations.

It breaks down into 2 sub-phases  :

​

• The identification of the munition nature or not of the object brought to light  : Is it an ammunition or a remnant of ammunition likely to contain explosives  ?

​

• If it is ammunition or remnants of ammunition likely to contain explosives, precise identification of the object without displacement by an experienced deminer.

​

These 2 phases are carried out by DEMINETEC personnel trained and qualified according to the provisions of the decree of January 23, 2006.
